Garshana is a traditional Ayurvedic dry brushing ritual, and these gloves are made from 100% unbleached raw silk to bring that practice into an everyday shower or morning routine. The slightly coarse, uneven texture of raw silk works as a natural exfoliant, buffing away dry skin and waking up circulation without water or soap.

Each glove has an elastic wristband to keep it from slipping during use, and the set comes with a cloth travel pouch, so it is easy to pack for a trip. They are available in two sizes, S/M at 8 by 6 inches and L at 9 by 7 inches, so most hands will find a comfortable fit.
       
To use, brush dry skin in long strokes toward the heart before showering, starting at the feet and hands and moving up the limbs. Five minutes is enough for a full body pass. Hand wash the gloves and air dry them between uses to keep the silk in good shape.
